Photo by File /Truro NewsVALLEY – Colchester County District RCMP have charged a Valley man with multiple sexual offences dating back to the ’70s.He was a former Scout Master in the community and held the position at the time that the offences happened.On Oct. 24, 2024, RCMP received a report of historical sexual assaults that happened when the victim was a youth. He has been charged with five counts of indecent assault and five counts of acts of gross indecency.Police released Langille on conditions. He was scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court on June 16.This ongoing investigation is being led by the Colchester Community Action Team, Special Victims Unit.Investigators believe there may be more victims, and encourage them or anyone who might have additional information to contact Colchester County District RCMP at 902-893-6820.Article content
