(Shawn Foss/CBC)Police have arrested a 54-year-old man in connection with a suspected double homicide and stabbing in East Vancouver Friday.Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a residential building near Vanness Avenue and Spencer Street in the Collingwood neighbourhood around 2 p.m., according to a Vancouver Police Department (VPD) news release.Police found a 50-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries, and then subsequently found two female homicide victims in another building, near Joyce Street and Vanness, according to a second press release Saturday.Police arrested a man, who was found with non-life-threatening injuries at the scene of the homicides.Charges have not yet been laid, according to the release.In addition to the two people found dead on Sept. 5 in a residential building in Vancouver’s Collingwood neighbourhood, police said two others were seriously injured.
