Retail, groceriesGrocery stores like Sobeys, Walmart and Atlantic Superstore will be closed. Dartmouth’s Gateway Meat Market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dave’s Fruit and Vegetable Market will also be open, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.Wolfville’s Hennigar’s Farm Market will be open as well, between 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.All NSLC stores in Halifax Regional Municipality will be closed. The Halifax Shopping Centre, Mic Mac Mall and Sunnyside Mall will be closed for Labour Day. Some pharmacies will remain open for the holidays. Services affectedMunicipal offices will be closed in Halifax, as well as libraries. The call centre for 311 will only take urgent calls. Buses and ferries will run on a holiday schedule. Solid waste collection will not take place on Monday in areas that typically collect on that day. Instead, collection services were moved to Saturday.
