(Mike Zartler/CBC)The City of Winnipeg will stop picking up curbside yard waste pickup for the year in the coming weeks.Yard waste collection in Area A will end the week of Oct. 27-31, and in Area B on the week of Nov. 3-7, the city said Thursday.Winnipeggers can find which collection area they live in by typing in their address at winnipeg.ca/collectionday or by calling 311.After curbside collection ends, residents can still take their yard waste to the three 4R Winnipeg depots at 1825 Brady Rd., 1120 Pacific Ave. and 429 Panet Rd., the city said. Hours of operation can be found here.Halloween pumpkins can be left with other yard waste for collection, or can be dropped off at food waste drop-off locations.
