(CBC)Winnipeg police have cancelled a Silver Alert for a senior who had been missing since Sunday morning.The 83-year-old woman had last been seen around 11:30 a.m. that day in the Westwood neighbourhood.Police issued a Silver Alert Monday morning, urging the public to contact them if the woman was seen. A Silver Alert is used when a vulnerable adult is reported missing.The alert was cancelled later in the morning, after the woman was found safe, police said.A previous version of this story included the woman’s photograph and name.
