One of the occupants of the home was able to quickly extinguish the fire.”Article contentThe RCMP says that when officers returned to the home, Harding left in the stolen vehicle.Article content“Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but Harding refused to stop. In the interest of public safety, officers did not pursue the vehicle,” the release states.Article contentYarmouth Town RCMP officers located the vehicle a short time later on Highway 334 and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The RCMP say that Harding did not stop and continued to drive in an erratic manner, including passing unsafely.
