(Gabrielle Huston/CBC)A shelter-in-place order that was in place for four hours overnight in Renfrew, Ont., has been lifted, though a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman Thursday night remains at large, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said.Police said a woman attended a local hospital Thursday and reported she’d been held against her will and sexually assaulted at a motel on Raglan Street N.The woman said the suspect, who is known to her, had a handgun.Police later spotted the suspect but he fled onto the Algonquin Trail. Despite a search involving various OPP units including the canine team, police were unable to locate the suspect.”While there was believed to be no threat to the general public, a shelter-in-place order was issued for the area just after 9:00 p.m. out of an abundance of caution,” OPP said in a news release. The order was lifted at 1 a.m.The man is described as Black, five-feet-nine-inches to six feet tall, with the sides of his head shaved. He had a goatee, a five-star tattoo above his left eyebrow and another tattoo under his left eye. He was last seen wearing a purple plaid jacket, black shorts and a blue shirt.OPP said a warrant is being sought for the man’s arrest and are urging him to turn himself in.
