Canada Tree being restored as family searches for a forever home

5 hours agoNewsDuration 2:49The Canada Tree was described as a national treasure when it was first created in 1997. It also has deep roots on Prince Edward Island, where sculptor Tyler Aspin grew up. Aspin died suddenly in 2001 at the age of 32, and the Canada Tree has moved in and out of storage ever since. As CBC’s Nancy Russell reports, his family is having the sculpture restored and hopes to find it a forever home.
