Iqaluit restaurant The Snack feeds over 500 people on 10th anniversary

The Snack restaurant handed out more than 500 dishes of the French fries, gravy and cheese curds on Aug. 3 to celebrate its 10th anniversary. “We love being part of the community, and we wanted to give back to the community as a way of saying thank you and also taking care of community,” said Chris Vladimir, manager of The Snack. It took two hours to make the poutines from scratch. The meals came with a free pop as well. “We are here with the community,” Vladimir said.
