All six fire trucks attended the scene, as well as around 50 members.Article content“It was a very quick knock-down,” said Enman. “Lot of clean-up and mop-up afterwards, but they were on scene, probably, a little over an hour”Article contentThe damages, he said, were extensive, adding the garage is a total loss and the house, damaged both inside and out, is likely in need of repairs.Article contentWhile residents were home at the time, they were able to get out safely.Article content“It was a hot, hot evening for our guys,” Enman said. “Just keeping everybody hydrated was also a factor.”Article contentThe Fire Marshals Office is investigating.Article content
